Twitter and Politics

Last night I watched the debate. I also had twitter open and I was reading NPR Politics' updates to my companions in the room. It was nice to have solid quotes immediately after being heard on TV. It also helped to see what the whole world was saying in regards to the people and the debate its self. It was a global participation. Twitter has a special election base located here which pulls in any tweet related to politics. It also monitors the most popular discussed poltical topics (such as joe the plumber)
